Well I'll be damned.

Still not sure if I'm fully returning to blogging here.  Life has changed significantly and I just plain don't have the time, for the most part.

But.

I felt this important to share.  Governor Hogan told the state police to remove "Good and Substantial Reason" standard from the application process.

This is huge, even if Frosh is dragging his feet on it.

My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend has stopped running today.

I'm breaking my silence here for one reason: the death of a friend.

Today, my friend Tbolt left this plane of existence after a fight with cancer.

I met him at the gunblog meetup at NRAAM Pittsburgh 2011.  What followed was 11 years of snark, fun, camping, drinks, and gun talk.

I'll miss your annual performance of Shipoopi, your carefully tended fires, your insight about life, your steaks and potatoes, the depth of your ability to care for others despite carefully hiding it...all will be missed horribly.

Rest easy, friend.  We've got it from here.
