happy new year!

hope everyone's hangovers have at least gotten a little better by now...

i managed to remain hangover-free, but that's only because we made tons of food for dinner. steamed shrimp, OMGBESTDELMONICOSTEAKEVER, and some mashed 'taters for extra alcohol absorption. 2 bottles into our champagne stash and i still felt nothing (which is saying something, since i'm a complete lightweight).

so. get rest, eat something, and hopefully everyone who has to go to work tomorrow will feel OK by then.

I think my alcohol tolerance has been cut in half since college.

I had a bit more than 1/2 a pitcher at the bar and was feeling a bit buzzed. It's probably because I don't drink all that often now.
