Well, that's a bit of a surprise.

Recently I got a chain email that read like every other urban legend: beware blah blah someone's gonna get you blah blah. This time, it referred to "bottle bombs" being left in yards.

I don't know if someone got the idea from that chain mail or what, but apparently, this happens for real. I'm a tad weirded out at present. Beware strange bottles in your yard!

I think it happens too quickly to just leave it in the yard for a few hours. I can see some Idjits pulling up to the curb, jumping out, making up a couple and throwing them at your house then driving off.

But if you just happen to open the Door as it's rolling across your Front Porch, then you're screwed.

Sounds like something the Anarchists might use when they decide to have a Riot.

But no matter, I'd think that crap would be enough to Invoke "Castle Doctrine", at least in my State.

Ouch... Yeah, I'd be worried about one of them being left on the front porch and getting doorbell ditched...

Some bros in a Station wagon tossed one of thems at the Occupy Portland rabble up in Maine.

No injury, but lots of butthurt and uplay about "Right wing terrorism".
